What can I expect from the William Street Family Therapy Clinic?

The WSFTC is a teaching clinic where clients come for therapy at a low fee and allow students to observe and participate in their sessions. As a student, you will either be observing from a separate room, completing tasks given by our supervisors, or participating in the room with the practitioner working with the client.  You would be required to take notes, work towards the clients’ goals, and complete client case notes. This is a very unique way to learn as you are then given the opportunity to review your session and receive feedback from your peers and our accredited supervisors. When you are part of the co-therapy team, you will get a video copy of your therapy with clients, to improve your therapy skills.
